According to The Economist Italy holds the eighth spot in the list of countries with the best qualities of life. About 67% of the population lives in urban Italy. Only 33% of the population lives in rural Italy. Major industries in Italy include the Gold. Italy has the world's fourth largest gold reserve. Italy also has a very competitive role in the agricultural industry. The automobile industry is also a major contributor to Italy's economy. Italy ranks fifth largest in automobile producers in Europe. Tourism is also a leading and rapidly growing industry in Italy.
